RAFTINGPungwe River, Honde Valley FAR and WIDE offers a choice of three fantastic rafting trips on the Pungwe River in the warm Honde Valley. Each trip is very different in character and caters for all abilities and tastes from the gentle (well fairly gentle!) Family Day, a great outing for the whole family, to the exciting Bridge 2 Bridge section to the adrenalin rush of Bernie's Run, Pungwe River Rafting has it all. The rafts we use are specially designed five man inflatables and guests paddle their own rafts down river under instruction with a river guide. |

Tourism ActivitiesFAR and WIDE offers tourists a wide range of adventure activities in the Nyanga and Honde Valley areas of Zimbabwe's Eastern Highlands. Activities available include: seasonal wild water rafting, kayaking and river bugging, orienteering, mountain biking, rock-climbing and abseiling, fly fishing, forest birding, trees and orchid walks, expeditions and guided hikes from one to five nights, ropes courses, giant swing, and ziplines. Transport from our Juliasdale office is available. All activities are professionally guided. Accommodation and Special InterestThe following accommodation options are available for the discerning tourist: Far and Wide Camp, luxury Mutarazi Cottages, Pungwe Drift Cottages, Mutarazi Falls camp site in Nyanga and Aberfoyle Lodge in the Honde Valley. We are able to organise special interest experiences in the following interests: birding, fly fishing, orchids and kayaking and rafting.
