SkyRun Zimbabwe

SkyRun Zim had its inaugural event in December 2015, with a total of 30 entrants. Since then it has grown into one of the most sought after events in the country. We are blessed to be able to use this opportunity to put anything earnt from this event into uplifting the Nyanga National Park as well as our local community, through various projects each year.

SkyRun Zim is extremely fortunate to have the unbelievable Turaco Trail open itself up to Trail runners once a year for this event. The trail runs 62 km from Far and Wide through the Nyanga National Park, over the highest mountain (Mt Nyangani) in Zimbabwe and ends at the beautiful Aberfoyle lodge, on the border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The trail takes runners on a journey through a vast mountain wilderness of wild rivers and waterfalls, forests, montane grasslands, valleys, gorges and mountain peaks. Go check out our gallery for a better idea of the scenery. Alternatively take a tour through the video library.
